Overview

What is Tender?

Tender is POC's options engine. POC is the product: the site, the launches, the calls and the vaults you use. Tender is the set of Solana programs underneath it that hold the collateral, sell the options and settle them. Tender runs only for POC, so every program you see named tender or tender_* on Solscan is part of POC.

Why the name

In options, to tender is to deliver the underlying asset when an option is exercised. That is the idea POC is built on: every call is covered by real tokens that are locked the moment you buy it, and every put by real USDC. Nothing is promised for later, so nothing can be liquidated and no one has to show up to pay you. The engine is named after that rule.

The programs

ProgramWhat it does in POC
tenderThe option engine: creates each series (coin, strike, expiry), holds the collateral, exercises and settles
tender_vaultThe launch vault: launches a coin on pump.fun, buys and holds its stake, sells its calls, pays out cash-outs
tender_backstopBacker pools, and the split of platform fees
tender_marketThe marketplace where you list and buy option NFTs
tender_putsThe put vaults for established tokens

Program IDs are on Addresses.

Why POC doesn't just rename them

A program's name is part of its deployed build, and Solscan shows the name from that build. Renaming them would mean deploying new programs at new addresses and moving every vault, stake and open option across. The addresses you can check today are the ones holding the funds, so the names stay as they are.
